William James
William is the Executive Director and Founder of Summit Quest. Driven through the experience of his family’s personal cancer journey and the loss of his father to cancer in 2007, William felt the need to bring a holistic approach to providing support to the entire family facing a cancer diagnosis. The day to day interaction with Summit Quest participants drives William to continue his work and offers the blessing of keeping the memory of his father alive. It is William’s hope that Summit Quest will continue to be a lighthouse of hope to all of those facing cancer in our community and beyond for years to come. William lives in Rome with his wife Tara and their twin boys, Chase and Eli.

Karina Perez
Karina is a sophomore Economics major at Berry College from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She’s excited to work with Summit Quest by sharing the stories of families affected by cancer and providing resources, support, and opportunities to make lasting memories. She believes that every member of the Summit Quest family has a story that deserves to be told.
Luis Hernandez
Luis is a junior Biology major at Berry College, originally from Athens, Ga. He cherishes the opportunity to be a part of Summit Quest and to support the community. Through service he believes that he is able to support the staff by producing media content and updating web based information. He trust that creating awareness will inspire and unite individuals and families.
