A Blessed Day
Brenda McGlotha’s Story
Written by: Brenda McGlotha
Today is a blessed day like all days. My name is Brenda McGlotha. On Friday 13, 2018, I was diagnosed with an unwanted guest. Like always, I put my trust in faith and let God guide me through the many storms in life. The Breast Center was and has been a sweet safe haven. The people who work in this building from A to Z are ANGELS from God.
The building is a blessed temple, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for treatment. No one wants unwanted guests in their body, but if they show up you just let them know they can’t stay and they’re not welcome.
You have to laugh about it and move on. Keep your faith and God inside your heart. Everything will be alright. There is light at the end of the tunnel. You have to keep moving forward and always smile.
The journey I’ve been on has been an unforgetful experience. When you’re going through something like this, it’s good to have supportive friends and family like Summit Quest who was very supportive with activities, family gatherings, lunches, dinners, rock climbing, etc. With all these great things to do Summit Quest made sure you weren’t sitting around thinking about the unwanted guest in your body.
Keep pushing, don’t ever stop, don’t look back, keep looking forward into the future, and from where I’m standing everything looks BRIGHT.
