Janice Hopkins, Board Member

Janice is the Director of Operations at the Harbin Clinic Tony E. Warren Cancer Center. She specialized in Adult Oncology and received her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Post- Graduate training at Emory University, later receiving her MBA from Shorter University. She has been active in the Northwest Georgia Cancer Coalition, Rome-Floyd County Cancer Coalition, and Summit Quest for a number of years, serving in various roles on their boards. Dr. Bannister Harbin introduced Janice to William James a number of years ago, and after learning about Summit Quest, she wanted to help further the mission and vision of the organization. Janice feels strongly that Summit Quest is a very worthy organization and has filled a previously unmet need in the community by providing services to children and families who have been touched by cancer.
