Lacee Landrum, Board member

Lacee Landrum was introduced to Summit Quest in August of 2019 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Lacee and her family attended their first Summit Quest adventure at Cooper Creek Farm Pumpkin Patch in October 2019. During her cancer journey, Lacee worked with her State Representative, Trey Kelley, to write HB1125 Lacee’s Law. On August 5, 2020 Governor Kemp signed this law into effect that will allow anyone identified as “high risk” for breast cancer to begin being screened at age 30, lowering the previous guidelines of age 35. Lacee is able to give new perspectives helping our families as a cancer survivor. She hopes to be able to help our families along with their journeys by using experience gained through her own cancer journey.
