Miriam Little, President

Miriam was introduced to Summit Quest through her position as the Social Worker for Harbin Clinic Medical Oncology. Since 2015, her job has allowed her to educate, advocate, and provide available services to cancer patients and their families and give them opportunities to thrive. Her love for helping families began at a young age as she grew up in a pastor’s family, moving from Mexico to the United States to serve communities through local churches. Being a board member for Summit Quest has provided a window of opportunity that enables her to be the “hands and feet” of those who are dealing with the hardships that come with a cancer journey. Miriam’s fluency in both Spanish and English has been a vital resource to help Summit Quest bridge into the Hispanic community, and her passion to serve the Spanish-speaking families of the organization is highly treasured.
